Privacy notice
Last updated 16 June 2026
This is the personal portfolio and consulting site of James Hayward-Zhu. It's built to collect as little as possible. In plain terms:
- No cookies are set, and nothing is stored on your device.
- No analytics, tracking pixels, or advertising — your visit isn't measured or profiled.
- No accounts, sign-ups, or forms. The only way to get in touch is by email.
- Fonts and images are served directly from this site, so your browser doesn't quietly call out to third parties (including Google) while you read.
Hosting & server logs
The site is hosted on Vercel. Like any web host, Vercel automatically processes limited technical data needed to serve and protect the site — such as your IP address, browser type, and the page requested. This is held transiently for security, performance, and abuse prevention (the lawful basis is legitimate interest), and isn't used to identify or profile you.
If you email me
When you email JamesH@pivotalpath.co.uk, I receive your message and email address through my email provider so I can reply. I keep correspondence only as long as needed to deal with your enquiry, and I don't share it or use it for marketing.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR you can ask what personal data I hold about you, request a copy, or ask me to correct or delete it. Because the site itself stores nothing, in practice this only ever applies to emails you've sent me. To make a request, just email JamesH@pivotalpath.co.uk.
Changes
If this notice changes, the "last updated" date above will change with it.
